Where do I park?
There is parking available behind the church, as well as in the parking lot on the right side of the church. Feel free to park in either of these locations.

What attire should I wear?
At United Baptist Church of Ashford, we care about your heart and that is why we ask you to wear whatever you feel comfortable in, which could mean anything ranging from jeans and a three button suit. Come as you are and meet with Jesus.

What can I expect when I visit?
Visitors to UBC can expect excellent parking, a bulletin in which the schedule for the worship service and church announcements are located, hugs from loving people, and a sermon straight from the Word of God.

What is the worship music like?
We mix contemporary Christian worship music with traditional hymns, generally having a time of worship through music at the beginning of the service and a hymn during the service. There is a mix of celebratory songs to God which proclaim our freedom in Christ and more solemn songs of thankfulness, love and repentance.

What is the teaching like?
The teaching at United Baptist Church of Ashford is not only in line with the teachings of Jesus, but it is presented in a way that is understandable. We teach the Bible as the literal Word of God, the Word that "is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
If you would like to get a taste for what our teaching is like, you can listen to the sermons here.

Where do I take my children?
If you come for Sunday School, Children's Sunday School takes place in Palmer Hall (building behind the church). Children's Sunday School meets in the big room of Palmer Hall, accessible by the doors on the right side of the building.
During the worship service, Children's Church for children second grade and under is available in Palmer Hall as well. During the service, Pastor Patrick McCue will dismiss the children to Children's Church at the allotted time. After the worship service, you may pick up your children, again, in Palmer Hall.

What do I do about offerings?
We hold strong and true that the offering is an opportunity for those who consider UBC to be their home church to give back a portion of all that God has graciously given to them. If you are a visitor, we do not expect you to give in our offering. However, if you feel led, the offering box is located at the front of the church.

When do you serve communion?
Communion is served every first Sunday of the month. This is a tradition we hold so that we can follow Jesus' command to celebrate the Lord's Supper together as a church until He returns.
