Operation Beloved Warrior

Operation Beloved Warrior began in February 2007 as an outreach of deep appreciation to our brave men and women of the armed forces serving in harms way in Iraq and Afghanistan. Each month a box of goodies, love and encouragement is mailed to someone’s loved one or friend for as long as they serve in a war zone. The church prays a personalized version of Psalm 91 daily over each name and over their dear family.

“Beloved” in the Old Testament is the masculine noun “dowd”, meaning one beloved, friend, relation, cousin, uncle. In the New Testament it is the Greek word “agapetos,” meaning dearly, well beloved, to be fond of someone with a tenderness of the heart. It is the love of one as dear family with deep affection. Words cannot express our profound gratitude for the sacrifices that have been made on our behalf by our courageous Beloved Warriors and their families. May God bless and keep all of our Beloved Warriors.
